To become
Clean
And allowing
The time
A place to
Dream
And she sat
And dreamed
She dreamed
Of swimming
In a sea
So blue and
Clear that
The bottom
Looked to be
A floor
The ground
Of a new
And peaceful
World
She dreamed
Woke with
Wrinkled fingers
And toes
Too long in
The bath
Peace and
Dreams just
Don’t last
